Epoxy Flooring
In the industrial world, the phrase, epoxy flooring systems, is often used when it’s likely some kind of polymer, or resinous, floor coating system is required. Resinous floor coatings encompass a number of different polymer technologies, including but not limited to epoxies, urethanes, polyaspartics, methyl methacrylates (MMA), and vinyl esters.
Epoxy flooring systems might utilize one of more of these technologies in conjunction with each other to meet your specific needs. For example, your floor coating solution could be comprised of an epoxy primer and chemical-resistant urethane.
Floor coating projects require extensive knowledge of concrete substrates, surface preparation procedures, installation techniques, and material intricacies. We will work closely with our contractor partners to install epoxy flooring systems that meet your requirements throughout your facility.
PIP 0075

PIP 0075 is a two-component, 100% solids, epoxy coating system designed primarily for use as a clear top coat for decorative aggregate flake or quartz broadcast systems. PIP 0075 is formulated with near colorless components resulting in a a very clear coating compared to standard epoxy resin coatings. PIP 0075 is extremely low yellowing and exhibits excellent blush resistance. This product can be tinted on site via the use of PIP CPU color pack which results in a solid color low yellowing epoxy finish coat.
PIP 0075W
Thixotropic Epoxy Coating System
PIP 0075W is a two-component, 100% solids, thixotropic epoxy coating system designed for use as a vertical clear or pigmented coating primarily for walls. PIP 0075W will hold a nominal 15 mils without sagging on vertical applications. It is formulated with near colorless components a very clear and near colorless coating compared to standard epoxy resin coatings. PIP 0075W is extremely low yellowing and exhibits excellent blush resistance. This product can be tinted on site via the use of CPU color pack which results in a solid color UV resistant epoxy finish coat.
PIP 1000 CR/HB/FS/ST
Universal Epoxy Coating and Primer System
PIP 1000 series coatings are a two-component or three component (with color packs), universal, 100% solids, epoxy resin coating systems that can be applied either clear or pigmented. PIP 1000 has a universal, clear unfilled “A” component (1000-A) and is supplied with a choice of curing agents to achieve specific cure rates, chemical resistance requirements and final aesthetics. This product produces a gloss finish.
PIP 1000 HC
High-Clarity, Low Yellowing Clear Epoxy Coating System
PIP 1000 HC is a clear, two-component, 100% solids, epoxy resin coating system specifically formulated for clear top coats over pigmented or decorative flooring systems. It is formulated with near water white transparent resins and hardeners rendering a coating which highlights the coating or system beneath it. This product produces a gloss finish.
PIP 1000 Gel
Clear Epoxy Grout and Binder System
PIP 1000 Gel is a two-or three component, 100% solids, low odor, epoxy resin coating system. PIP 1000 Gel is primarily designed to grout PIP epoxy mortar systems. PIP 1000 Gel exhibits a higher degree of clarity than PIP 1000 Thixo and PIP 1000 Grout so it is the product of choice when grouting a mortar or decorative system requiring clear and transparent top coats. PIP 1000 Gel may also be used as the binder in combination with decorative quartz and silica sand aggregate for vertical cove applications. PIP 1000 Gel may be used in combination with 1000ST-B hardener for fine crack filling, or skim coat patching needs. PIP 1000 Gel is supplied with a choice of curing agents to achieve specific cure rates, chemical resistance requirements, utility and final aesthetics.
PIP 1100
Oil Tolerant Primer System
Protective Industrial Polymers’ PIP 1100 primer is a two-component epoxy penetrating primer primarily designed for areas which require epoxy mortar resurfacing and are contaminated with petroleum based oils and grease. An aliphatic blended curing agent blend provides increased tolerance to oil. PIP 1100 must be used in conjunction with another epoxy primer such as PIP 1000 to accept additional epoxy materials.
Application of PIP 1100 requires a minimum of ½ one-half gallon to 1 gallon of xylene solvent with the 2.5-gallon kit for easier application and deeper penetration into the concrete. Maximum solvent addition is ¾ gallon addition to a 2.5 gallon mix to maintain a VOC content less than 250 g/L.
PIP 1200 WR
Water-Reducible Epoxy System
PIP 1200 WR is a multi-purpose, two-component, water-reducible semi-gloss epoxy primer and coating. PIP 1200 WR is designed primarily as a direct to concrete water vapor permeable epoxy primer for thin film breathable coating systems. PIP 1200 WR is typically applied in one or two coats followed by a topcoat of PIP 2000 series or PIP 200 ESD urethane. PIP GlossGrip additive is recommended in the urethane topcoat when there is a known risk of significant moisture vapor drive. PIP 1200 WR can also serve as a final wear coat in multiple coat applications.
PIP 1250 WR
Water-Reducible Epoxy System
PIP 1250 WR is your go-to solution for a range of coating needs. This two-component, water-reducible semi-gloss epoxy primer and coating excels as both a direct-to-concrete primer and a breathable epoxy coating. With its impressive Perm Rating and permeability up to 100 times greater than traditional coatings, it’s perfect for areas where moisture transmission is critical.
PIP 1300 MVR
Moisture Vapor Transmission Reducing Primer
PIP 1300 MVR primer is a 100% two-component epoxy primer specially formulated to deeply penetrate and seal concrete slabs to reduce moisture vapor transmission. PIP 1300 MVR provides a Class 1 Vapor Suppression rating when applied over a properly prepared and cured concrete substrate at specified application thickness. It provides enhanced protection against failure of epoxy and urethane coatings due to elevated concrete moisture and moisture vapor levels.
PIP 1775 Novalac
Novalac Epoxy System
PIP 1775 Novalac is a three-component, highly chemical-resistant, pigmented epoxy novalac coating. PIP 1775 Novalac is applied as a top coat or used to recoat an existing epoxy floor. This product produces a gloss finish.
Target areas for PIP 1775 Novalac include battery charging, chemical processing, and other chemical exposure areas. PIP 1775 Novalac is designed to withstand a wide array of chemical contact including strong acids, caustics, and solvents.
PIP 1800 Flex
Flexible Epoxy Resin System
PIP 1800 Flex is a three-component flexible epoxy and urethane hybrid coating. PIP 1800 Flex is applied as a membrane and/or broadcast with aggregate to form a flexible impact resistant wear course. Target areas for PIP 1800 Flex include liquid processing and elevated areas requiring a flexible membrane. It also serves as a coating that can withstand repeated impact better than standard epoxy coatings.
PIP 1875
High Elongation, Hard, Rapid Cure Epoxy System
PIP 1875 is a two or three-component high elongation, fast curing epoxy coating which provides the hardness, adhesion, and durability of epoxies with a degree of flexibility common to polyurethane or polyurea. PIP 1875 possesses a very fast cure compared to epoxies with similar elongation properties. It is recommended for use as a hard yet flexible membrane in various applications where it is important to protect a structure from damages due to repeated shift and movement, including above grade mezzanines. PIP 1875 can also be used to fill control joints in combination with a foam backer rod or similar barricade. It also provides cured coatings with the flexibility and strength needed for heavy stress concrete flooring. PIP 1875 can also be used as a membrane and/or broadcast with aggregate to form a tough but flexible impact resistant wear course. It is compatible with all PIP epoxy and urethane coatings.
