Broadcast floor systems are created utilizing high-performance polymers with aggregate broadcast into the body coat. A broadcast system typically starts with a primer, followed by a high-build intermediate “body” coat broadcast with various aggregates depending on intended use of the finished floor area. Broadcast aggregates can range from small angular quartz for slight “grit” slip protection to aluminum oxide (ALOX) for high-wearing system properties. High-performance polymer topcoat(s) then complete the system.
Broadcast systems are ideally suited for industrial, commercial or institutional “shop” applications where a slip resistant, durable finish is desired over new or existing sound concrete. These systems are easier to apply than slurries or troweled mortars, making them an ideal choice for areas that require more wear and abrasion characteristics than a high-build coating system.
BC-Series System Lineup
High-Performance Broadcast Flooring SystemTexture: T222*
System Description:
A broadcast floor system consisting of an epoxy primer, followed by a high-build epoxy broadcast with silica aggregate. The system is then coated with a high-build epoxy, and top coated with an aliphatic urethane enhanced with GlossGrip Safety, Gloss and Wear Additive. This low-odor broadcast system can be pigmented in a variety of colors, and features excellent impact and abrasion resistance. Suited for use in general shop areas where aesthetics and cleanability are a requirement.

Extreme-Wear Broadcast Flooring SystemTexture: T191
System Description:
A broadcast floor system consisting of an epoxy primer, followed by a high-build epoxy broadcast with aluminum oxide aggregate. The system is then coated with a high-build epoxy, and top coated with an aliphatic urethane enhanced with a DiamondWear additive. This extreme wearing broadcast system is suited for shop areas exposed to heavy wheel and foot traffic, such as aisleways and warehouse areas. This system exhibits a satin, textured finish and can be pigmented in a vast array of colors.

Chemical-Resistant Broadcast Flooring SystemTexture: T100
System Description:
A broadcast floor system consisting of a chemical-resistant epoxy primer followed by an intermediate novalac epoxy broadcast with silica aggregate. The system is top coated with a highly chemical-resistant novalac epoxy. This broadcast floor system is suited for shop areas exposed to various chemicals including strong acids, caustics and solvents.

Shock-Resistant Broadcast Flooring SystemTexture: T101
System Description:
A broadcast floor system consisting of a self-priming, self-leveling, thermal shock-resistant urethane concrete coating broadcast with silica aggregate. The system is then top coated with a thermal shock-resistant urethane concrete finish coat. This system exhibits thermal expansion rates similar to that of concrete, making it an ideal choice for shop areas exposed to hot and cold-water washdowns.

Fast-Cure Broadcast Flooring SystemTexture: T100
System Description:
A broadcast floor system consisting of a fast-setting epoxy primer followed by an intermediate fast-setting polyaspartic broadcast with silica aggregate. The system is top coated with a fast-curing polyaspartic topcoat. This easy-to-clean, light-reflective, UV-resistant system is ideal for general shop areas exposed to general traffic. This system is suited for areas with minimal shutdown windows where quick return to service is a requirement.

Flexible Broadcast Flooring SystemTexture: T222
System Description:
A flexible broadcast system consisting of an epoxy primer, followed by a highly-flexible epoxy/urethane hybrid membrane coating. The system receives an epoxy/urethane hybrid membrane coating broadcast with silica aggregate. The system is then coated with a neat coat of flexible epoxy and top coated with an aliphatic urethane enhanced with GlossGrip Safety, Gloss and Wear Additive. This shop floor is suited for liquid processing and elevated areas where durability and flexibility are a requirement.
